Amid thick fog blanketing the city of Harusaki, Ren stands atop the school roof, staring at the gray sky, holding a glowing blue flower in his hand. Behind him, Hana approaches hesitantly and says with a trembling voice, If you use it now, you won't remember me anymore, right? Ren looks at her with a sad smile and whispers, But I'll give the city a chance to live. Even if I forget you, my heart won't. He raises the flower to the sky and light begins to spread.

Beginning of the story. In the city of Harusaki, where the fog never lifts and people have lost hope, lives Ren, a quiet sixteen-year-old boy who loves to draw and lives with his grandmother. Years ago, the sun vanished from the sky and rumors spread about a rare blue flower called the Flower of Hope that could bring back the light.

Ren meets Hana, a cheerful and mysterious girl who suddenly appears at his school. She tells him she's searching for the Flower of Hope and that only he can help her find it. Together, they embark on a journey through the city's alleys, facing shadowy creatures and uncovering clues that lead them to the abandoned old school where Ren's father disappeared years ago.

During their quest, Ren discovers that Hana isn't fully human she's a guardian spirit sent to protect the flower. As they get closer to it, a secret organization emerges, wanting to use the flower for evil. Ren faces a heartbreaking choice. Use the flower to save the city and lose all memories of Hana, or keep his memories and let the city remain in darkness. Hana, now feeling human emotions, offers to sacrifice herself, but Ren refuses to lose her.

The ending? At the final moment, Ren prepares to use the flower, but Hana merges with it, allowing him to activate its power without losing his memories. Light floods the city, the fog disappears, and the sun returns. People come out of their homes laughing, crying, and celebrating. Ren sees Hana's spirit smiling in the sky, saying, You chose hope, and I'm proud of you.

Days pass. and the old school becomes a garden filled with blue flowers named Hannah's Garden. Wren paints a large portrait of Hannah and the flower, hanging it in the city center as a symbol of hope and sacrifice, and that was the flower of hope in the foggy city.
